Day 1 Arrival to Lima
Arrival at the International Jorge Chavez airport, welcome and transfer to the hotel

Day 2 Arequipa
After breakfast at the hotel we will be waiting for you in the lobby of the hotel to transfer you to the airport of Lima for your flight to Arequipa.
Arrival at the White City of Arequipa, welcome and transfer to your hotel.
Today you will have the rest of the day free to explore the beautiful White City of Arequipa on your own. The majority of the city is constructed with a white volcanic white sillar stone that gives the city a beautifulwhite gleam. We highly suggest visiting the main square or Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Convent of Santa Catalina, along with other colonial buildings around the center. The main square boasts an architectural style that blends European and native characteristics to create a unique style dubbed “Escuela Arequipeña”. We also recommend visiting the Museum Santuarios Andinos dedicated to the Juanita frozen mummy. Night in Arequipa city.

Day 3 Chivay, Colca Canyon
After breakfast your tour bus will meet you in the lobby of your hotel where you will start your hour bus journey to the small town of Chivay. On the way to Chivay you will pass through the Cañahuas plateau to the Aguada Blanca National Reserve and habitat for vicuñas and alpacas (South America camelids); also in route you will see pre-columbian terraces that are still used today to grow native crops.
When the tour bus arrives to Chivay they will bring you to the Hotel where you will stay the night. The rest of the afternoon will be yours to rest, relax or explore as you wish.

Day 4 Colca Canyon/Cruz del Condor – Puno
Very early in the morning the tour bus will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. You will continue on to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint where you can see the largest flying bird in the world in full flight. After some time watching the Condors you will continue on to the traditional villages of Yanque, Corporaque, Achoma and Maca where you will have the chance to visit with the inhabitants and observe them in their daily traditional life.
In the afternoon the tour bus will bring you to the city of Puno (6 hrs. approx.) When you arrive we will be waiting to bring you to your hotel where you can rest and relax in Puno city.

Day 5 Puno & Lake Titicaca Tour (Uros and Taquile Islands)
After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the Port to take a boat for an unforgettable journey around Lake Titicaca. Our first stop is in the floating Islands of Uros. These Islands were constructed by hand using locally grown reeds, they also use this material to build their houses, boats and other domestic items.
After a visit to the Uros Islands where you will learn about the ancient traditions and way of life we will continue the journey to Taquile Island, also an Island inhabited by Quechua speakers (the language of the Incas) who have developed an efficient organization system, and their work in agriculture and textile with ancient techniques.
After a tour of the island and meeting with the locals we will take the boat back to Puno. When you arrive to the port we will bring you back to your hotel for a restful evening.

Day 6 Tour bus from to Cusco
Early in the morning we will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel and bring you to the bus terminal where you will catch your tour bus to Cusco. During the journey you will visit Pukara, and then stop in the Pass of La Raya, the highest point on the way at 4,400 masl. Then the bus will stop at the archaeological site of Raqchi, temple dedicated to Wiracocha God; the central part is built from adobe bricks. Then the trip continues to the Town and Church of Andahuaylillas, this church is also known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to the rich colonial artworks and painted murals that cover the walls, ceilings, and arches. After you visit the church the bus will continue to Cusco.
When you arrive to Cusco we will be waiting to bring you to your hotel for a restful and relaxing evening.
Optional:

  • A Luxury Andean Explorer Train Service from Puno to Cusco. Also a route considered by some travel magazines one of the most beautiful in the world. Also this train runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays; since April on fridays.

Day 7 Cusco City Tour
Today you will have a free morning to rest, relax and explore in the beautiful ancient capital of the Incas. We highly suggest visiting the San Pedro Market, Artisan neighborhood of San Blas or the Central Artisanal where you can find many handicrafts made by the locals.
At the appropriate time we will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and start the tour. We will visit the main square or Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Coricancha or Temple of the Sun. Afterwards we will make our way outside the city to the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara and Tambomachay. After a tour of each location we will bring you back to your hotel for a restful evening.

Day 8 Sacred Valley Tour
After an early breakfast we will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel and bring you into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be to visit the archaeological site and traditional market of Pisac. After your tour of Pisac we will make our way to Urubamba where you will enjoy a lovely lunch make with some of the many fresh products of the area.
After lunch we will make our way to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the ancient Inca Fortress and terraces. After the tour we will bring you to your Ollantaytambo hotel where you will enjoy a restful and relaxing evening.

Day 09 Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes
Today you will have a free morning to rest, relax and explore the town of Ollantaytambo as you wish. This village is known for their ancient streets and houses and retains the original city plan of the original Inca City.
At the appropriate time we will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and bring you to the Train Station for your Expedition Train to Aguas Calientes. The train will follow the Vilcanota River for approximately 1½ hr. When you arrive a representative from you hotel will be waiting to help you with your luggage, escort you to your hotel and assist you with the check in process.
The rest of the afternoon will be yours to rest, relax and explore as you wish. We recommend visiting the local Hot Springs of Aguas Calientes for a dip in the Hot Spring Pools.
Optional:

  • Additional Vistadome Train Service, more comfortable, with panoramic windows located beside and above your seat will bring you close to nature.
  • Additional Belmond Hiram Bingham Train Service, more exclusive and luxurious train, with an elegant dining car and a bar car.

Day 10 Machu Picchu Tour

After breakfast we will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and bring you to the bus station for your train to the citadel of Machu Picchu. You will then enjoy a professional guided tour of one of the Modern Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu, one of the most mysterious and magical places in the world
After your tour you will have some extra free time to Explore before returning to the train station for your train and transfer back to the hotel in Cusco.
Optional:

  • Entrance fee to Hike the Huaynapicchu Mountain or the Machupicchu Mountain

Later in the afternoon you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and make your way to the train station for your train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy. When your train arrives we will be waiting to bring you back to your hotel in Cusco for a restful evening.

Day 11 Departure Cusco
At the appropriate time your transfer will pick you up and bring you to the Cusco Airport where you will catch your flight home.

Huaynapicchu Mountain - Machu Picchu:

  • Entrance fee for HuaynaPicchu Mountain: Additional cost of $20.00 per person if the confirmation is at time of the booking. If the confirmation is received after the time of booking a full entrance fee with Huayan Picchu must be purchased at the cost of $80.00 per person. Also it depends of availability, there is two schedules 7:00am and 10:00am (To visit the first schedule may be necessary to travel the night before to Aguas Calientes and spend the night there).
